Animated Ads:
At Buzzfeed, we call these "Buzzcuts" and they can be made with custom, in-house illustrations or client assets. These 15 second ads are posted to BuzzFeed's social accounts and on-site. As the writer of the Buzzcuts below, I brainstormed the concepts, wrote the copy, and collaborated with (amazing) Buzzfeed designers to create them.

Client: California Department of Public Health

Objective: Raise awareness of the harmful impact marijuana can have on mental health and enocurage teenagers who are struggling to find information and resources at the CDPH's MindOverMarijuana website.

Client: Ikon Pass

Objective: Drive season pass sales by positioning the Ikon Pass as essential for passionate skiiers and snowboarders who want make the most of winter.

Client: Blundstone

Objective: Leverage the change in season to drive Blundstone boots sales amongst hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts.

Client: Cox

Objective: Raise awareness for Cox Mobile's comprehensive plans and strengthen their brand positiong as the service "For Everyone."

Client: Oral-B

Objective: Encourage last-minute holiday shoppers to buy Oral-B electric toothbrushes for anyone left on their shopping list.

Client: Walmart

Objective: Drive sales for summer toys by showcasing product variety and low prices.

Client: Zappos

Objective: Drive sales best-selling products and raise awareness for the top brands that are available at Zappos.

Objective: Promote Cox Mobile's latest commercial by cutting it down to the 15- second BuzzCut time limit.
